Today it was raining. I didn’t think we’d ever go outside. But just when I was getting tired, Daddy surprised me. He tricked me to put my coat on and we went outside! It was great! Until he brought me inside 30 seconds later.
“Hey! What’s the big idea, big guy?” I wanted to yell at him. Instead I just yelled.
He retorted by putting my rain coat on top of my normal coat. Then I really let him have it.
Another minute ticked by oh so slowly and painfully as he put on my coat. Then he threw me up on his shoulders and we headed out to the playground. I thought it was going to be the playground, but it wasn’t. You know, I sometimes hate it when these guys trick me; but sometimes its fun at the same time.
So we walked out on this muddy road and found some weird looking sticks. I walked around in them and then decided it was nap time. I even got a flower. What a busy day, huh?
Wait! I almost forgot the best part. I thought the rocks on the playground were cool, but out in the field there were piles of rocks taller than even my Daddy!!! And he’s pretty tall. That’s a lot of rocks. But that meanie wouldn’t let me play with them. Life is so not fair sometimes.

Today, like everyday, we went to the playground. It isn’t as clean as back home, but there are tons of cool rocks to play with. See me on the slide at the top of this page? Doesn’t that look really fun? I think so too.
My friend Vova came to the playground today. I like him. He can walk. I let him borrow some of my sand toys to play with.
Sonya, Grandma and Daddy were all there today on the playground. They aren’t as much fun as Mommy, but I guess Grandma comes pretty close.

Guess what?! I’m a big boy now!
I let go of Mommy’s hands today all by myself and took a few steps; five to be precise. I like walking. It tickles the inside of your tummy when you hurdle yourself forward. But I fell. Then I didn’t like walking anymore. Mommy kissed me to make it all better, but it still hurt. Maybe I won’t walk any more today….
Grandma and Sonya didn’t think it was all that exciting, but boy, let me tell you. I can go to sleep tonight. Then again, maybe I’ll keep the parents up; who knows.
