My second Thanksgiving is all done. I don’t remember much about the first. If the pictures are any indication, I got passed around like a football, and then passed out.
While we were waiting for the meal to start, I ran around. One fun thing was watching the birds fly. After I chased the doggies around on the deck, I wanted Mommy to pick me up, but she wouldn’t. Grandmommy came and got me, but I cried ‘cause I wanted Mommy.
But after a minute or two, I saw the birds coming to get some seeds. They would swoop up out of nowhere and sit for a moment. Then fly away. I laughed when they left…because they were so funny. They’d hop up and down in the air and hide their wings. Maybe they were cold.
I like birdies. What kind of birdie is your favorite?

I need to hurry up and learn how to talk; Daddy is just taking way too long to post stuff for me. Last Sabbath at lunchtime, Grandmommy showed me some sign language and I really liked it. I said please and thank you. The bad part about knowing this is that my parents won’t do what I want them to when I yell anymore. They make me say please. And that doesn’t seem very fair.
Last night we went for a walk outside where there were lots of lights. At first I was confused, but then it was pretty fun to see the moving lights. Finally I fell asleep. Even though I love walking, it’s great to get carried sometimes. I wonder if Mommy and Daddy will always carry me.

Tonight I picked up the new trash bag Daddy put down and started shaking it around. You know, it really makes a great swooshing sound when you run around waving it. Daddy got a bag too and we made music together. Mommy thought it was funny.
